THE SPACE The pool Cottage is an antique guest house with a vintage clawfoot tub. If you're looking for a gleaming chrome and glass condo, this is not the place for you. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen to stay and unwind in a safe, quiet neighborhood close to Miami. RELAX IN OUR COMFORTABLE BEDROOMS Inside the Cottage, you’ll find comfortable king-size beds in all bedrooms. You’ll sleep like a baby in our comfy high-end linens, cozy pillows, and great mattresses. We supply high-quality towels for each guest. The Garden Bedroom features a smart 40” Sony TV. LARGE COTTAGE LETS YOU GATHER AND ENJOY The centrally located living/dining room opens to a small, but well-stocked kitchen well equipped for entertaining your family. ENJOY THE MAGIC CITY IN A RELAXING PLACE TO STAY You’ll find the WiFi internet amazing for working from home. Smart TVs are set up for you to log into your favorite streaming service. ENJOY THE OUTDOOR AREA - FIRE PIT, DAYBED, TREE HOUSE, SUN LOUNGERS AND HAMMOCK Outside you’ll enjoy a tropical garden and a big pool surrounded by comfortable shaded loungers and a magically lit garden to enjoy beautiful evenings. The cottage is located in the back of our fenced-in half-acre garden underneath two avocado trees. We don't use pesticides. Depending on when you come, there are Avocados, Bananas, Star Fruit, Florida Cherry, Soursop, Hibiscus, Loquats, Mangoes, Mulberry, Papaya, Pineapples, Sugar Apples, Tamarind, … COTTAGE - Kitchen - 2 Bedrooms with King Beds and closets - Bathroom with clawfoot tub/shower - Living room w/ 55“ in Smart TV - Garden bedroom w/ 40“ in Smart TV ADDITIONAL REQUESTS Parents of infants and toddlers can request a pack-and-play and a high chair. (Please bring your own sheets and bedding for the pack-and-play.) Come stay with us! We would love to host you. Our goal is to ensure your arrival and check-in are the beginning of a relaxing stay in Miami. GUEST ACCESS: Guests receive a personal code that activates at their check-in time and deactivates at their check-out time. There is a smart lock on the entrance of the garden bedroom THE NEIGHBORHOOD: El Portal is the smallest municipality in Miami-Dade County less than a mile from I95 and close to Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports. It’s a short drive to beaches and the attractions and shopping in downtown Miami. GETTING AROUND: It’s easy to Uber or Lyft in Miami, although it's better to rent a car to get around the city. Public transportation is ok, there are bus stations a block from the Miami Pool Cottage but be prepared to spend a lot of your time waiting for and using the busses. El Portal is a walkable quiet neighborhood - excellent for walks or runs through the beautiful treelined streets. Other things to note: GUEST LINENS & TOWELS PROVIDED: Guests are provided our premium linens as part of their stay at no additional cost: fitted sheets, top sheets, blankets, pillows, and cooling comforters are provided. We also provide 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, 1 washcloth, and 1 pool towel per guest.
