The interior is JUST UPDATED (Jan 2022) with new flooring (no carpet!), fresh paint, coastal furnishings, bedding, and new artwork throughout. For those who need to “catch up on a little work,” there is a dedicated workspace in the living room. Calming lake views are enjoyed from the shaded private master deck and the sunny upper level deck (get that tan on!). "Lakeside Beach House" is child-friendly but we do not allow pets. Recently furnished is a new king-sized bed in the master bedroom with a soothing view of the lake from the sliding glass doors on to the privately furnished lower deck. The master bedroom has a private full bathroom. There is a smart TV in the master bedroom. A twin-over-full bunkbed makes up the guest room with another smart TV. The décor is just delightful and makes guests feel at home! A full bathroom is just outside the door. The sun-filled living room has a sofa and loveseat for kicking back and relaxing in comfort. The living room also has a HUGE Roku/cable/smart TV - so remember to bring your Netflix/Amazon Prime/streaming credentials with you on your trip. With ample living room seating and two outdoor spaces to enjoy, there is more than enough room for everyone to settle in at "Lakeside Beach House." This privately-owned townhome’s kitchen is fully equipped for meals in! A combo coffee pot/coffee pod machine is available for our guests. "Lakeside Beach House" is located in Destin in its own little neighborhood that includes 2 tennis courts, a seasonally-heated pool, a kiddie pool, a catch and release lake, and…. a PRIVATE BEACH! The beach is literally steps away, just over the beautiful foot bridge over the lake, close enough to get there easily but far enough to escape the hustle and bustle (and noise) of beach life. The entrance to the beach and back to the property is gated and locked. Walk out the front door and head in any direction towards fun and entertainment! Destin’s famed Harbor Walk (where you’ll find activities, restaurants, and boating charters) is only 2 miles away. The owners take great pride in providing the types of amenities that they themselves look for when traveling. You will find everything you need to cook, relax, and enjoy your vacation, including a full-sized washer and dryer in the unit, power stations on each nightstand, bathroom amenities, complementary beach chairs/umbrella setup, a pack-n-play, and a booster seat for your use. Cleanliness is critical to a guest's experience and we employ the most highly-rated housekeepers in the area. An onsite property manager is also available to your during your stay for any questions or concerns. * This property gets regular pest treatment as part of the HOA. * Surveillance Device Disclosure: We have a security doorbell that records video and audio of those entering the home. There are no devices inside of the home. * All property photos are owned/were purchased by "Lakeside Beach House.” Please do not borrow them :) Guests are able to get to the pool, tennis courts, beach, and lake on foot but a car is needed to get to Destin's Harborwalk. There is a dedicated parking spot right outside the door. I am always available by phone, text, or email. I love helping my guests out! "Southbay by the Gulf" is a small community of townhomes in Destin. "Southbay" has its own pool, private beach access, tennis courts, and lake stocked with fish and turtles. "Southbay" is just west of Destin's famed Harborwalk and close to fun and entertainment. You may walk to the private beach, property pool, 2 tennis courts, and catch-and-release lake. You will need a car to get to other areas of Destin.
